Vacation Home Property Management Services

I am David Chandler, Lieutenant Colonel, US Army Retired since 1995, a Vietnam Veteran (1968-70), and veteran of the Gulf War (1991-2).   Since retirement I managed a timeshare resort in the NC Mountains for 4 years, 1999 to 2003, moving it from the lowest category of resort in the RCI (Resort Condominiums International), to the highest - Gold Crown Resort.  In late 2002 with the US Army gearing up for an invasion into Iraq, I left the US to work as a private defense contractor throughout 2003. 

Since January 2004, I've been a full time residential real estate broker at June Jerome Realty.   I divide my time between residential real estate and my Vacation Rental management company, Chandler Property Management Services, which is a seperate entity from June Jerome Realty. 

We would welcome the opportunity to manage your vacation property.  We charge our clients 20% management fee, and the owner pays almost all direct costs related to their unit, i.e. specific advertising, cleaning, maintenance, paper supplies and replacement items.  We share most advertising costs in the same ratio that we benefit, i.e. 80% by the owner, 20% by us.  For more details look under the menu for "Listing Your Property."

I am partnered with Gary Nunes and his wife Annette.  They are responsible for maintenance and cleaning of the cabins.  Gary is technically talented and can fix most anything whether its electrical, mechanical, or plumbing.  Annette works for attorney Robert Phillips by day, and does free lance concierge services at Mountain Aire.  Gary and Annette are very particular about the maintenance and cleanliness of our units, and we seldom disappoint.  I believe our success has been in our ability to consistently exceed our guests expectations.
